It’s a day short of two months since D-Day.
Though I’m merely half way down to my pre-China weight, I’ve made some progress pushing my jog distance sans rest:
3.6km on 3.13,
……………6.1km on 4.26,
…………………………7.2km on 5.12,
……………………………………..and 7.6km today.
Without a phone in hand nor music in my ears, I find the mind is able to calm and the passing of time no longer plagues my thought. Regulating breath, maintaining posture, and controlling speed becomes priority.
A thunderstorm rolled in for a third of my laps this evening.
The air cooled. The field emptied. Sweat washed away. It was simply amazing.
